Day 01 : Departing from Quito
Departing from Quito, your adventure begins with a visit to the Papallacta Hot Springs, where you can relax in natural thermal pools surrounded by breathtaking Andean landscapes. After a scenic drive through the cloud forest and a traditional lunch in Baeza, continue to the Amazon and settle into Suchipakari Jungle Lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy a tubing experience floating down the river, followed by dinner and an exciting guided night walk to spot nocturnal wildlife.
Day 02 : Napo River
The second day begins with breakfast at the lodge before navigating the Napo River by motor canoe. Along the way, visit Anaconda Island to observe caimans and other Amazon species, and continue to the “Amazoonico” Wildlife Rescue Center, home to monkeys, parrots, and rescued animals. Enjoy a box lunch and then head to a Kichwa community, where you’ll taste traditional yuca chicha, try blowgun practice, and learn about ancestral traditions. Later, visit the Ahuano Community for a pottery workshop with local artisans. Return to Suchipakari Jungle Lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 03 : Final day
On the final day, enjoy breakfast before immersing yourself in the Chocolate Route experience, where you’ll discover how cacao is cultivated and transformed into Ecuador’s world-renowned chocolate. After lunch in Archidona, explore the mystical Jumandy Caverns, known for their underground rivers and fascinating rock formations. In the afternoon, a private transfer takes you back to Quito, arriving in the evening with unforgettable memories of Ecuador’s Andes and Amazon.
